yogurt
(for marinade)
Alternative: vegan yogurt
- 3 clove Garlic (crushed)
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger (grated)
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 0.5 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 piece red onion (cut into chunks)
- 1 piece Red bell pepper (cut into chunks)
- 1 piece Green bell pepper (cut into chunks)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions

Mix yogurt, garlic, ginger, garam masala, cumin, turmeric, chilli powder, and lemon juice to make a marinade.

Toss chicken pieces (or tofu) in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.

Thread marinated chicken, onion, and peppers onto skewers.

Heat grill to medium-high. Brush skewers with olive oil and grill for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through or tofu is golden.

Serve hot with naan or rice and salad.
