Paradise Cake with Thermomix - Italian Dessert

Ingredients

  • 150 g Granulated sugar
  • 150 g Soft butter
  • 75 g All-purpose flour
  • 75 g Corn starch
  • 4 piece Egg yolks
  • 2 piece Egg whites
  • 8 g baking powder
  • 67 to_taste Powdered sugar
  • 67 to_taste lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Combine granulated sugar and lemon zest in a food processor. Process for 10 seconds until pulverized. Set aside.

  2. Add soft butter and the pulverized sugar mixture to the food processor. Mix for 2 minutes.

  3. Add the egg yolks and egg whites to the mixture. Mix for 1 minute.

  4. Add all-purpose flour, cornstarch and baking powder to the mixture. Mix for 30 seconds.

  5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes.

  6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
