Ingredients
- 350 g strong white bread flour (plus extra for dusting)
- 1 sachet fast-action dried yeast
- 0.5 tsp Caster sugar
- 200 ml Water (warm)
- 1 pinch Sea salt (large pinch)
Instructions
-
Tip flour into a large bowl, stir in yeast and sugar. Make a well, add 200ml warm water and a large pinch of salt; mix until a soft dough forms. Knead on a lightly floured surface for 5 mins, then rest covered for 5 mins.
-
Heat oven to 240°C (220°C fan). Preheat a pizza stone, sturdy baking sheet or upturned tray on the top shelf.
-
If rested longer, knock back the dough. Divide into 2 balls. Roll one ball on a floured surface into a large circle and transfer to a floured baking sheet. Add desired toppings.
-
Slide the topped dough onto the hot stone/sheet/tray and bake 8-10 mins until bubbling and crisp. Repeat with the second ball.
