Algerian Turkey and Bean Stew - Algerian Main Course

Ingredients

  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 piece Bay leaf
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 3 piece Tomato
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 500 g Turkey
  • 500 g Red kidney beans

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion and mince the garlic.

  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.

  3. Add the diced turkey and cook until browned.

  4. Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, paprika, salt, pepper, coriander, and bay leaf. Stir well.

  5. Add water to cover the ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, or until the stew has thickened.

  6. Serve hot.
