Chicken in Crapaudine - French Main Course

Ingredients

  • 1 piece Chicken
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 4 pinch Tabasco sauce
  • 2 pinch herbes de provence
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0.5 piece Lemon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Prepare the chicken by butterflying it: cut along the backbone and open it up.

  3. In a bowl, mix tomato paste, minced garlic, Tabasco, herbes de Provence, and olive oil.

  4. Rub the mixture all over the chicken.

  5. Place the chicken on a baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

  7. Squeeze lemon juice over the chicken before serving.
