Grilled Shrimp & Herb Cheese Bites - French Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 4 slice Bread (white)
  • 200 g Prawns
  • 150 g Cream cheese
  • 0.5 piece Lemon (juice)
  • 1 to_taste Thyme
  • 1 to_taste Dill
  • 20 g Butter
  • 1 to_taste Salt
  • 1 to_taste Black pepper
  • 200 g Prawns (Vegan option)
    Alternative: tofu
  • 150 g Cream cheese (Vegan option)
    Alternative: Vegan feta cheese
  • 20 g Butter (Vegan option)
    Alternative: vegan butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, lemon juice, thyme, dill, salt, and pepper.

  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture on bread slices.

  4. Grill prawns until pink and cooked through.

  5. Place grilled prawns on top of the cream cheese spread.

  6. Melt butter and brush on top of the bites.

  7. Grill until golden brown. Serve immediately.
