- 1 tsp Salt (to taste)
- 1 tsp Black pepper (to taste)
- 2 piece Thyme
- 50 g Breadcrumbs
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Cook macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Drain.

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to create a roux.

Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, and thyme until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir to combine.

Pour the macaroni and cheese mixture into a baking dish.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
