Ingredients
- 2 piece Duck breast
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
-
Score the duck breast skin in a crosshatch pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat.
-
Season the duck breasts with salt.
-
Place the duck breasts skin-side down in a cold pan over medium heat. Cook for 8-10 minutes, rendering the fat and crisping the skin.
-
Flip the duck breasts and cook for 3-5 minutes for medium-rare, or longer to your preference.
-
Remove the duck breasts from the pan and let rest for 5 minutes.
-
While the duck is resting, deglaze the pan with balsamic vinegar and honey. Simmer until slightly thickened.
-
Slice the duck breasts and serve drizzled with the balsamic honey glaze.
