Onion, Trout and Sorrel Salad - Italian Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 piece Onion
  • 200 g Sorrel (tender shoots)
  • 200 g Smoked trout
  • 12 piece Quail eggs
  • 1 piece Orange
  • 5 ml Cream
  • 67 Mustard
  • 67 Olive oil
  • 67 Salt
  • 67 Black pepper
  • 200 g Smoked trout (Smoked trout)
    Alternative: smoked salmon

Instructions

  1. Boil the quail eggs for 5 minutes. Cool, peel, and halve them.

  2. Thinly slice the onions.

  3. Peel the orange, remove the segments, and set aside.

  4. In a bowl, whisk together the cream, mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a dressing.

  5. Gently combine the sliced onions, sorrel, smoked trout, quail eggs, and orange segments.

  6. Dress the salad with the prepared dressing and serve immediately.
