Spanish Potato Omelette - Spanish Side Dish

Ingredients

  • 1000 g Potato
  • 1 to_taste Salt
  • 50 ml Vegetable oil
  • 6 piece Eggs

Instructions

  1. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Add the potatoes to the skillet and cook until softened and lightly browned, about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Drain the potatoes and season with salt.

  5. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and salt.

  6. Add the cooked potatoes to the egg mixture and mix well.

  7. Return the potato and egg mixture to the skillet and cook over low heat until the omelette is set, about 5-10 minutes per side. Flip carefully using a plate.

  8. Slide the omelette onto a serving plate and serve warm or at room temperature.
